Love it! I've only got a little bit left in my bottle from italy. Reckon I'll have to give it a crack now that my lemons are done.

I've got a heap of lemons too. I was thinking of killing the proverbial two birds. Use the rind for limoncello and the rest of the lemon into the wash for a lemon vodka?

if u freeze the equivalent of 2 to 3 lemons in freezer bags then that is pretty close to the citric you are chasing per wash. A large bunch of lemons is difficult to work with.

Freeze the lemon peels or the lemon and the juice?

After I get the yellow rind I mince the lemons and put them through a tomato juicer you just get the pulp and juice freeze them in ice block trays 2 in an 80 litre wash
Heres the juicer

Shorty, as Aussie stated, he was going to peel the lemons, use the rind for Limoncello and pulp the flesh. My response was based on this. I did the same over a year ago,and froze the peeled whole lemons. Then just defrosted a couple (for a 25lit wash) and squished them up by hand into the wash. Always worked fine even with some chunky bits in there.
PS... works great with orange peel if you like a Contreau (oops) taste to yr neutral.
