Choko's are terrible :puke-huge: not sure how much sugar they have. You will probably have to add extra sugar. I think a choko is a cross between a zucchini, cucumber and squash. Not sure what type of drink it would make ;-)

JTO sounds like you have an excess of these humble vegetables.

Personally I like the taste and texture of them steamed or boiled.
But.... never thought of using them as nutrient or flavouring as they have very little flavour.
Can't see that they would be high in sugar either....

The best way to find out is do a 20 litre batch up (sugar head?) and report back on how you went.
Looking forward to seeing how the experiment goes... ;-)

Maybe used as a delicate flavouring to a vodka... then again.......... no. :laughing-rolling:

Not familiar with these guys so pinched a comment from a guru at AHB...

No experience apart from the kitchen, but at %0.5 starch and %3.1 sugar I'd guess it's not gonna be easy ,or very low alcohol

combined with the avg taste would not be first choice of a vege to make a wash from.
