G’Day All,

Its time for another FSD competition, but this one has a special twist. :happy-partydance:

5 Star is venturing into the retail market and will be opening a walk in store late December 2014. (Official opening will be advised)

This has come about for a few reasons the main one being that our storage in the shed & home are no longer coping and we have had many enquiries asking if we have a store location.

Store Location: Shop 4 74-80 Attfield Street Maddington Perth WA.

Trading Name: 5 Star Brewing & Distilling Supplies


So down to the competition at hand.

We are looking for a new logo, so all you art minded people get your pencil or mouse ready and see what you can come up with.

As above our Store Trading name will be 5 Star Brewing & Distilling Supplies.

The logo chosen will be used for shop signage, business cards etc.

This comp will run for 3 weeks lets say to the 12/12/2014 with the logo to be used decided shortly after.

So for the rules

We will have 1st 2nd & 3rd places

Competition is open to all Forum Members & Moderators
All logos are to be suitable for a Business
Forum members will get a vote on the logos submitted
The 3 logos with the most votes at the end of the 3 weeks will be deemed the winners
Of these 3 winning logos Mac & Myself will choose which one we will be using.

The prizes will be:

1st - $125.00 5 Star Store Credit
2nd - $ 75.00 5 Star Store Credit
3rd - $ 50.00 5 Star Store Credit

Hi CH,

Ultimately we would prefer the complete trading name in the logo, but please feel free to submit more than one.
You could emphasise a 5 Star logo and work the Brewing & Distilling Supplies around it, its entirely up to you.

Hi 1 2 If you have Word or Power Point your already there. If not, pretty sure you can download a free trial vision.

I do like the southern cross representing the 5 Star logo, It's not an easy one to fit with the theme but the southern cross is something patriotic and close to my heart :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Mr and Mrs Mac, do you want a full picture type logo or a basic branding?

Hi Potmash,

The logo we are looking for really cant be to intricate as it will need to be printed & painted (while i am pretty good with a brush i am no portrait artist :smile: )

Something simple & elegant (if that makes sense)

The logo chosen will be used for business cards, shop glass signage & street signage.
