Bad news today folks.
The power controllers are out of stock and there is no eta on more :crying-blue:
Kegland have decided that they are redesigning an already great product and can’t tell us when they might be back in stock :angry-banghead:
I’ll keep everybody in the loop as more info comes to hand.
Cheers

Why don't you just buy them wholesale from places like Ali Baba? I bought one on the Ali Express website (exact copy of the Kegland one) and I've had it for a few years no problem. You could probably sell them for less and make yourself a bit of coin along the way...

Because then we would need to get them complied .
If we didn’t and something went bang we would be liable.
But..... I did find the company that makes them for Kegland and they had 30 units left , by the time we added shipping etc they were going to cost $52 each landed.

What was wrong with the current design?
Wonder what they are going to "improve.

I didn’t think there was anything wrong , having said that we did have around 10% failure rate .
I hope they are looking at better heat dissipation of some sort and better quality control
All we can really do is wait till they have them back and tell us what they have done
Cheers

Do they sell in the U.S as the ones on the net seem to be way more expensive in U.S and a massive market compared to Australia.

Nobody is saying what’s been changed if anything .
The cynic in me says they just ran out of stock

Hey Andrew, will these work on T500 boiler? (It's rated at 2000W)

I'm thinking of trying to reduce the take off rate a bit when doing a spirit run for an AG wash with the alembic pot still/liebig. It runs too fast at full power for my liking.

Hi Tesla,
I run the same type of boiler. The controller works a treat. Great for slower spirit runs or controlling foreshots/ heads early in a stripping run. Would not be able to use my pot still effectively without it.

Cheers

As Les has stated, yes they work a treat, but you already know that since we just spoke about it :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:
