Hey Mac,

Do you know when you might have more 2400W elements? I'll grab 2 when you do.

Any chance that you could have them wired up?

I would love to say yes, but being I'm not a qualified sparky I wont do it.

I dont want to be held accountable for burning someone's house down or worse, and these elements are sold with the understanding it's your responsibility to have them wired correctly.

Sorry but that's just the way it is.

Cheers.

Yeah I want x2 as well. I looked at keg king no weld ones...took about 90 seconds reading here and aussiehomebrewer before I realised they were both unreliable and downright dangerous.

I love this forum - saved me money and saved me time.

I have 2 of those weldless elements from KegKing, have had them for 12 months.

I haven't had any problems yet, but am definitely wary of the issues people have had.

How'd you mount them?

I too would be keen for a 2400 element.
I have now had 2 kegking elements fail and they are way too dangerous.
Note the black molten wire insulation that has melted through the white outer insulator.

Yeah I've heard NOTHING good about kegking weldless elements. Shame as it seems such a good option for those of us without welding gear or access to a decent/cheap sparkie.

Too good to be true? Methinks so.

I will put my hand up for a pair of 2400w too.
