As this is in the drinking section....
I'd suggest the top photo was of his new glass for scotch..... and a tea strainer.. Cause Mac drinks lots of tea.. :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

I have just put some items together.

Check out Doc's website and the design drawings of his new still.

I think he might be waiting for a parcel a bit like an expectant father. Mac, instead of you wasting time taking a photo, I think Doc would have preferred that you were packing those items and getting them in a teletransporter such that he didn't have to wait any longer.

Yeah but! What on earth is with the glass section? And the valves after the tee piece? Almost like you want something going one way, or/then the other way. Or are the valves before the tee ?
Too many questions. Hurry up with the answers

The valves have to be a gin head as is the basket.
My guess is FSD is also getting into the glass bubblers.
Hmmm Mac, am I close?

I ordered 2 complete units as prototypes to play around with, today I built the down tube that goes into the sight glass so it's a thumper.... this is for the Doc's 8" rig that'll be used predominantly for gins.

The other one I'll set up a little differently to be used on my 6" rig for spiced rum & vodka infusions, but mines going to fizz lots of little bubbles rather than thump large bubbles ;-)

I got a fair few pics today but just need to sort through them to find the good ones that show the internals, however Gas on is on his way over for a few drinks so I wont be putting pics up today :teasing-neener:

Yeah if anyone wants one to fit their 4" rigs out I can just change out the current 4" x 3" tees for 4" x 2" tees. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Oh and here's a couple more pics of how the thump tube is inserted, I had to custom build the tube in my shed to know for sure it's going to work properly, so now I can get the lower tee made with the thump tube already installed permanently :handgestures-thumbupleft: .

Mate you must be so proud... your design ability and fabrication are without question the very best I have seen in distilling. I am proud to be the fortunate recipient, and look forward too showing off this still and creating great spirits in the 5 Star way for decades to come... Thank you Mac, and you Mrs Mac I know how hard you guys work to get this right. Humbly.

Doc it's a shared design with many hours of conversation involved, amongst all the other dribble we laugh about, so I didnt want to post a pic of it as a completed unit.... however if you dont mind I'd like too :handgestures-thumbupleft:
