G'day Mac, that pot in the picture is a push/pull dual type, are you using just one to control both relays :?:

Cheers :handgestures-thumbupleft:

noice - the aluminum project box is a bit pricey at $30
I'll use an old PC power supply case instead - and got fans and heat sinks a-plenty

(3 of the pics are missing here too - the pot , the pot knobs and the power cord plugs)
edit - after i posted this they all show up - wierd

I'll be using one pot for each element.

Didn't worry about $30 for the box as it's delivery included, it's the size I wanted and I reckon two controllers for under $100 is an absolute fucken bargain :D

With that type of pot you could control/set one relay when the pole/post is pushed in, then pull the pole/post
& control/set the other relay.
You will know where your at with the volt metres.
Anyway, just an idea.

Bloody hell, is that supposed to be 14.4 Kw of heating for the boiler?...... or are you using to heat your house as well :o

Hello!

I was just wondering, each of these setups would control only one element correct (i am a bit of an electrical novice) and if so, do I just cut my power cable in half, slot this in the middle, reconnect it, and Ill have a variable power output?

Yeah it'll control 2 elements from the same box, it will have 2 cords from the power point and 1 for each element :handgestures-thumbupleft:
