Im shit with wires etc im looking for a controller or if some one could point me in the direction to buy one
or if any one has one for sale

will be hooked up to one of Macs 2400watter's

That's a negative mate, they have an internal relay that will turn your element on and off when set. They are good for keeping your washes warm while fermenting though...

You could use it but I assume you are just after a manually operated relay?

That relay will use the temp probe to regulate power to the SSR, the manual type use a variable resistor or 'pot' which you turn to set your heat...
