AD searchIt normally sits on a small dolly so I can wheel it around when it's full but after the first time this happened I, thinking along the same lines as you, sat it on some wooden blocks which gave me about 3" of space underneath and it made no difference.

Mines never cut out mate, going on 2 years old and the last year been running low wines reguarly. I would be contacting the seller before it's too late, although SS is not known for their customer service... They are a cheap and nasty thing.

Thanks Muppet. I might just do that. In fact, I reckon it should still be within the warranty period now that I think of it. I only bought it at the start of the year.

Hi Prof Green
If I'm not too late with my reply, I had the same problem a while ago.
The solution was to scrub the inside base of the boiler with dish washing liquid (a couple of drops) and steel wool. Make it shine, give it a rinse and away you go.
It might already look clean, but give it a try anyway.

Hi BIll,
The boiler has been used relatively few times and I clean it out thoroughly with detergent and a non-scouring scouring pad each time so I'd be very surprised if cleaning the inside again would fix this. I still haven't had time to fully investigate but I'm still thinking the thermal switch is on the fritz.

So surprise yourself, spend two minutes with a steelo.
