Bad SSR's

Just thought i would post this. been looking into PID setups here and over on AHD over past few days and was pointed in the direction of this link and though it should be known here also

Its about counter fit faulty SSR's

I have watched a couple youtube vids also where they pull the cheapies apart to see what is inside. Worth searching for.

SSRs are known to fail (even expensive ones) and when they do, they often stay ON. Some reputable suppliers recommend a contactor on the load side of the SSR, so you can guarantee power to the elements is off when the controĺler is switched off.
