That's a lot of juice mate, make sure you got the right supply for it ;-)

You may well have it being where you are, just saying so people dont think they can run 7200w through a double powerpoint in their laundry 8-}

Looks very nice.

Do you have any tips on how you removed the rim of the keg to expose the top? This looks to be tig weilded on my keg.

Cut down close to the weld with a cutting disk on an angle grinder, then swap to a flap disk to grind down smooth and clean it up

You ever get that beautiful double keg runnin? What did you do on your thump? I'd love to hear your experiences with it. How much juice are you throwing at it on the strip and spirit? etc. etc. etc. etc. :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah: :teasing-blah:

I am thinking 2600 or 3600 would take for ever to get up to temp. I guess I am impatient. When I want it I want it now. I don't think I quite put that part of me together until now. I was thinking 11k would be what I would want. Obviously just to bring up to temps.

Jesus mate! Most people use 4800W total (2x 2400W)...How the hell will you supply 11kW? 3x 15A circuits??

If you're worried about the the 35mins a 4800W unit takes, how do you deal with the rest of this hobby?!!? :))

Id throw 2-30 am 240v breakers at it and it be cheap not counting elements. Easy peasy. 5500w should pull 23 ams at 240. Just for heat up. Drop back accordingly when stripping. That is if I had something like this. I'd think 5000w for a nice fast strip would work. I am thinking pot still. I can't speak for anything reflux.
