Got Q on pot still, is it best to have some type of bend at the top of the 2" pipe stem or iOS this okay?

Clubby , I' m a little confused as to what you are doing exactly ..but it looks like the 2" is reducing to 3/4" ??? Then you have some brass compression fitting.
I am guessing the condenser will be connected to this.



Ideally if you could have the bend in 2" it will allow a better path for the vapour than the 3/4" so it will work but your stripping rate might be less than if you had 2" all the way to the condenser.

Its all relavant to how much heat you want to much up it.
At 1000 watts there will probably be no noticable difference
At 2000 watts there might be
At 4000 watts there really will be

equipment: Did use Still Spirits Reflux
Now use 50l Keg with Pot head for Rum and Neutral stripping runs on gas .
LM/VM head with 1m packed 2" on Still Spirits boiler for Neutrals.
