What are the fang dangle bits of copper welded on at odd angles down near the base of the column for? Just in case your still needs to double as a harpoon if you ever chance upon a whale?

They are the legs to support the column on my t500 lid. When i get my bubbler going i will sell the pot and t500 boiler. No point hacking them off when I will need the back on. :-B

The whale is beached azz bro :teasing-tease: :laughing-rolling:

You will need something a little bigger than that toy if you have a problem.

If the gauge is in the green then turn the extinguisher up side down and give it a tap with a mallet to loosen the powder, if it drops it will be good to go. :)
