Hi,

Cool build, pretty close to what I have in mind to build too.
Sorry for my newb question :-B Is there a port to clean/ drain the content of your keg? Or do you just fill, shake and rinse?

Cheers,
Martin

Hey mate, at the moment no other holes in it apart from the top one. I just shine a torch down there every now and then to see if there's any crap in there. Like you said shake and rinse after every use
Cheers.

Same method I use at that moment. Hoping to get a drain welded in soon.

Great, thanks very much for that!
One more question, if you don't mind?
Where do you purchase the copper fittings from? I've tried looking everywhere online, but can't seem to find anything?

Thanks in advance :)

I got my stuff from trade link. bloody expensive. I'f i had my time again I would just buy a 2" still from 5star.
If your going to be brewing indoors i would say a drain should be top priority as I've found the most dangerous and messy part of this is getting the hot back set out of the boiler after a stripping run.

Hey mate,

I'm now well on my way to building my still. If you don't mind, the tri-clamp you used with the keg, is that a 2" one?
I've been looking for a keg to use, and looking at your pictures, I think the neighbor has one of those lying around!! ;)
