I think I have seen the answer on here but I can't find it. Today I did my 3rd stripping run on a cfw. First two had no drama but this one I only got about half and it sounded like a old school train was about to come out the end of my still.. Any ideas on what's going on???

I had a read over huffing.
Am I understanding correct when you can cool to quick.
Also people said they should pack ss or copper scrubbers. Do people pack pot stills?

From my understanding, yes :-B I slowed it down when it 1st happened to me but apparently backing off the cooling works :shifty:
Not normally. Usually only to remove sulphides when using a stainless still.
See which works best for u :handgestures-thumbupleft:

If ya put a piece of copper or stainless mesh about the size of a fat caterpillar into the end of ya output( a snug fit only not too tight) it should reduce or eliminate the huffing,I also taper the end and point it straight down gives a good consistent stream to ya collection containers.cheers hillzabilly
