Thanks guys :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Ran the 25L of TPW through it yesterday evening as a sacrificial run.
I noted down below:

150ml discarded sweet smell, almost apple
500ml @ 68% 340ml
500ml @ 65% 325ml
500ml @ 63% 315ml sharp taste
500ml @ 59% 295ml
500ml @ 56% 280ml
500ml @ 53% 265ml
500ml @ 50% 250ml quite clean
500ml @ 46% 230ml
500ml @ 40% 200ml
500ml @ 35% 175ml
500ml @ 28% 140ml
500ml @ 20% 100ml flow slowed down on this cut

Total @ 100% 2915ml
Meassured Combined abv 6L @ 44%

I believe I had about a 13% wash, so pretty decent output. I certainly agree that the 20% abv level is the cutoff for my still, ABV drop dramatically then.

Here's a couple of pics of the 'moon' shining from yesterday night ;)
yesterday was a cold clear night

G'Day Marty,
Just noted that you tasted your sac run ("sharp taste" - 3rd tar from top) I'd suggest that you don't taste it!
It's a Sac run or sacrificial run for a reason - it clean out he vinegar and shyte the vinegar run didn't remove on the first run... as such, it would not only taste bad but also be rather unhealthy!!

Best not taste/drink it; not worth it for the cost of the TPW.

:text-+1: it's for throwing away. 2nd run is for tasting.

Haha yes, I understand, curiosity got the better of me :shifty: so I splashed a little on my finger, tasted that droplet, and spat it out :handgestures-fingerscrossed: 8-}
EDIT: Just clarifying, I have already thrown it out
