Looks like a shotgun to me :handgestures-thumbupleft: 2" pot is a good start. And having it with a modular shotgun you have a headstart on a bubbler.

dont know how long to make it will decide today , but probably in the intrest of keeping the weight down on the t500 lid i wont go to long i should think definitley no more than 400.
i have also made an adaptor to fit the colum to the lid .that was a bugger tapping threads into 3mm holes in stainless.

if i was making this collar again i would be making it out of brass ,much easier than stainless .i made it this way so that there is nothing going through the hole in the lid causing restrictions , this way it is the full 2" all the way through and there is very little weight in it .

changed my mind already and made another 2 ends plates for 4 tubes this time instead of 5 looks better to me less crowded more room for water to move around and less weight .

I have 6x 1/2" inners in my 2" PC.

More tubes = more efficient.

Yer but what if you build a bubbler later
400 would be ok but 500mm and you can use it on your next upgrade :handgestures-thumbupleft: but yes watch the weight, someone with a t500 might be able to help here

That is just pure genius right there!
I bought a spare lid for my boiler and tried TIG'ing a flange to it, but as I'm still learning to weld I botched it, so I now need to buy another lid and try to weld a stainless 3" flange onto it.

I've hung a 2" stainless pot off the T500 boiler. The lid flexes a little but should handle it OK. You might want to consider a pelican style design to offset the weight otherwise it may topple over.

Cheers,
Prof. Green.

Are they 3"? I thought the T500 adaptors were only 2".

unbebloodyleivible no leaks , BUT i still have to solder a reducer one end and join the shotgun to the swans/pelicans head the other end so still pleny of scope to develop a leak yet .
