HBS boiler lid adapter.

Pot still design and discussion

HBS boiler lid adapter.

Postby Plumby » Mon Oct 02, 2017 2:19 pm

Afternoon all,
I'm in the process of transforming my Still Spirits Super Reflux still ( the predecessor to the t500 ) into a 25 litre pot still boiler. To put my pot still on I need a tri clamp adapter I'm just unsure of which one to order from 5star. There is 2 on the website a t500 adapter which uses the original t500 nut and one which is a complete set with seal and backing nut included, I think I need the complete set but not totally sure. Also what size hole do I drill in my lid? It is currently a whopping 22mm.
Thanks for the help.

I spose it depends on what you need if u don't have a nut buy the one with the nut and u will probably need a ferrule o ring to but that's just a guess hope that helps

One converts a t500 still to a keg boiler. The other converts a t500 boiler to a 2 inch triclamp.
