Thank for the comments guys. it was fun to make & works great.

FYI, all joints soft soldered :smile:

the boiler has 2 x 2200watt elements. I use both for stripping, but turn 1 off when I start to get output on a spirit run.

I just had to file the ridge off one the inside so the pipe would slide right through.

from memory its 1.2m of 1.5" over 1.2m of 3/4". the 3/4" is partially crimped at 45 degrees alternately all the length of the inside to generate turbulence in the vapour & cooling water. did it with the corner of the vice :handgestures-thumbupleft:
