Hey all, i have 2 pot stills, one is 2" colum at 500mm down to 3/4'' lyme arm of 400mm and into a 1.2m, 3/4" over 1/2" liebig. The second is the vortex one i posted recently, 2" cloum 800mm, down to lyme of 400mm and into the 3 way liebig, 1" over 3/4" over 1/2" at 1.2m. I get around 5.5l an hour out of the first one with about 70% max ABV. The second one i get around 9L an hour with about 87% ABV . I was always under the impression the % was to do with the still itself, not the condensor?. Do better condensors create higher ABV in similair porstills?. Thanks for any feed back.
Cheers
