So I'm planning on undertaking a build. I was thinking that I'd attempt something simpler than a bubbler to start with but also something that can be upgraded later.
4" Pot still with 2" shotgun, something resembling Candy.
700mm 4" column (leaves a bit to play with for an RC later)
4" 90° bend
4"-2" reducer
2" Tri clamp union
2" 90° bend
2" Tri clamp union
650mm 2" shotgun (what I have left from making my element guards)
4 or 5 1/2" pipe for internal shotgun, what ever I can fit
All soft soldered.
I've noticed that people generally use 2.5" for shotguns with a 4" column size. Do you think that the 2" will suffice?
I'm thinking that this shouldn't take too long to build once I pick up my materials and give me good practice at copper soldering. It should also be quicker than my current 2" pot.
Cheers.
