No tips needed for McRum. Strip, spirit run, cut and store on oak for a month. Bloody good gear. Don't be surprised if it is not very nice straight off the still. Young rum is pretty manky.

Looks good... :handgestures-thumbupleft: first runs, strip as fast as you can, spirit runs nic n slow...dont charge the boiler with low wines over40% and it will be manky as until it has aged a little. Trust me I seen a grown man run to the tap with his tounge dragging behind him to wash the raw rum off slobering all the way :puke-huge: ....he thinks I set him up for that... :whistle:

I have no way of controlling the power on the t500 boiler yet. Still looking at building a controller. The spirit spirit run will have to be flat out and hope the product is drinkable.
I was naieve and thought turbo mixes from the airstill weren't too bad, I'm sure I'll drink whatever comes out of this pot.
