Aussies pot still and thumper

Postby AussieDistiller1989 » Tue Jul 22, 2014 4:52 pm

Hello all.
I have finally finished my still been a very long time coming due to
Being very busy with my last job and moved town the found someone
To do my copper to stain less braising.

Now just a sort of stupid question I have been doing a vinegar run
To clean my still it cleaned it alright but was still rather dirty so I scrubbed
The inside of my first pipe worked a treat bit the thumper pipe I cannot do
The same with as the lieberg condenser won't allow me to do it the same way.
Also now just need to check one weld as I bent the 45 join to the lieberg trying to clean it
Ggggrrrr
Will a long vinegar run fully clean the inside out ?

Mate,

Have you done a sacrificial run?

If not, run a wash or a goon of cheap booze through it.

Booze cleans everything
