Blucs Mac boka

Whipped up my packed section for my Mac boka today thanks rc al for the pipe at great price and the time it took you to expand the ends :handgestures-thumbupleft: Now just need s needle valve :D

Nice one bluc.

I'd recommend stuffing a little bit of copper mesh in amongst the coils of the condenser to help it knock the vapour down.

I don't think it is removable, I just pushed the mesh down loosely through the top.

Dumb question of the day number 1, Anyone know where to get a stainless compression fitting to suit 1/2" copper and has a 3/8th male thread. Have searched the usual hbs's etc but no one seems to have one..

Not sure on that size, but plumbingsuplies.com.Au have a reasonalble range of threaded stainless stuff

Ifn it is for the output tube 3/8 or 1/4 would work ,I used ta run 1/4inch output tube ,then ran it thru 1/2inch tube about 40cm long for a leiburg product cooler as the output can be quite warm.I just cut two small lengths of 1/4inch tube ,and after running the output tube thru the 1/2inch tube ,stuck one of the small 1/4 inch tubes in each end and crimped it a little befor soft soldering it up ,then add brass water fittings if ya like .cheers hillzabilly ;-)

I have 1/2" copper so gunna use that. I grabbed a needle valve from 5 star and have tracked down a fitting :handgestures-thumbupleft:
