Needle valve

Postby Mr C2H6O » Wed Jan 08, 2020 2:52 pm

Hi,
I'm currently building a 3inch boka and just wondering if anyone has experience with Tetrapy Needle valves? for the output tube.
I'm looking at the 1/4 inch?
https://www.tetrapy.com.au/product-category/needle-valves/

Also, not sure which type

Thanks

You aren't going to need 1/2" BSP for your application as the takeoff rate is so low. All you need is 1/4" bsp or 1/4" compression fitting valve.

A quick search on ebay and I came up with an Australia seller selling 1/4" bsp stainless steel needle valves for under $15.00

I hope this helps

Not much a fan of the threaded ones.
I think I'll go for 1/4" SS316 Compression Fitting. I can't find any on ebay in Australia. Probably will get one from Tetrapy, gave them a call they have them in Stock in Sydney.

This looks great
