At the moment I'm prioritizing things, got a heap of small jobs to do for people before I start on my own things again ;)

Cheers.

Send it down here mate,I will run it for you

No worries just deposit $1100 to cover freight and you can use it as long as you want ;) ;)
I can get freight alot cheaper than that  $1100 Hmmm still worth considering ;)

Did you actually run it? Cause it hasn`t been made any new post etc ;)
What kind of takeoff speeds did you get during hearts?

I`m wandering, cause I`m planning a 4" VM, pretty much that same as the one you built, only in SS.

... much to JD's horror I cut it up and made a couple of bubblers out of it before I finished the build :laughing-rolling:

Too bad ;)

What do you think of a 15 perforated plate VM, with LM for heads extraction, in a 4" column? I`m thinking of 4" between each plate?
Any pitfalls i should know about?

Thanks

Oh it will be 8-)
But is 4" enough between the plates, or should i go bigger, maybe smaller?
I was hoping to make due without any sight-glasses, but do i need them?

I'm not a plate stiller but you'd need at least one sight glass on the bottom plate no?
Otherwise you could have a bunch of plates with no reflux on them............

Do I? As long as i don`t screw up the size on the holes, they should all hold liquid? Or?

i think the need for sight glasses is to confirm when they start and stop refluxing and adjustments to cooling / heat input ?

but NFI relly

I could just make a few, (top, bottom and some in the middle) and it will probably be enough ;)

What happened to my post BTW?
