he just wants to make cheep piss for him self is there a easy reflux still that can be put together copper or stainless on the cheap material is no issue other wise he will end up getting a t500 like one of the other lads at work

what ever the equipment, without cuts it will be crap....

personally I think you can make a bokakob so easily I wouldn't spend money buying a small reflux column

whatever he does he will make crap and give up on the hobby unless you can educate him on making cuts

my 2 cents

But really if he wont listen to reason just point him at the turbo and activated carbon shelf at the local HBS. :teasing-tease: Someone has to support them, after all where are we going to get that replacement alcometer from on a Saturday afternoon after smashing our second spare :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Sounds like hes got it sorted then mate :handgestures-thumbupleft:

I've tried with a fair few fellas, tried explaining the cuts, cheaper and better washes, that a reflux still is no good for bourbon etc etc... after a while I gave up.. :O)

Ok so im goin to hijack my own thread

Im in the process of puttin bits n peices together to build a 4" 4 plate glass bubbler with a benny twist (unfortunatly family before hobby so the pricey bits need to be saved up for).

But i want to upgrade my lil reflux up to a 2" copper to attach to my keg boiler i know every one builds bokas but i can operate my cm and i would like to stay with that style any sugguestions and critism welcome i think it will work

Ive got the bits cut for my rc and pc already.i have a peice of 50mm id 5mm thick 90mm long glass tube i just need the length for the main column, 180 deg bend, reducer, parrot and triclover fittings
