Yes but they didn't cost me $2.80 each :teasing-neener:
I wouldn't drink some of those anyway

Its funny Jack Daniels Old No.7 is our best seller. Smirnoff Red Vodka very close in second place.
I am only going by how many bottles of course.

Hi wood duck,

Can you please post a close up of your parrot on the still with the thumper?

Does the output tube spiral around the vertical tube? If so that looks awesome. If not ignore me, it could just be the resolution confusing me.

Thanks,

Richard

Thanks 5,

That was my first effort at copper and i was quite happy with it. I just wish i knew about soft solder back then :)) but it still cleaned up alright.

Yes it does spiral around. It's a good parrot but the 6mm out take is a bit small for the bubbler :laughing-rolling:

Definitely on the shopping list although a little way away yet. I've still got to find a sparky to wire up my elements and a couple of power controllers first.

I was thinking of adding in two plated section to my 4" Mod still, how does it improve the quality? anything special you change with the runs?

I've only done a stripping run so far, just doing my first real run now. Adding of plates to the pot gives an increase in output ABV and I think also helps with separation of heads/tails. I'm still learning about them myself.

Seems to work fine. Plus you get a visual indication of what's going on inside the pot.
