So.......I can use the Carter head to make spiced rum instead of using maceration techniques?
I've already macerated a few items ready for blending.
If that's the case then I guess I could use the maceration techniques to do mini trials of blend ratios and then use the Carter head to try to replicate my final recipe?
Or skip all that and do the trials directly with the Carter head?
PS...sorry for the off topic chat, I'll post a still pic to make up for it. :)

Well I don't have a Still just yet but I did manage to pinch the most sexy brand new Stainless 50L keg from work :silent: :shhh:
Im going to use the one I already had for a Mash Tun. I can post a pick of a untouched Keg lol

yeah on gas there, and rain water only... I think that pic is around 09 maybe a year later at most.

that's HD on the laptop screen not long before Rednose built the first downsized plated still, from memory it was the 6" rig he built that OD copied :think: been a few drinks since then so it's all a little blurry :))
