Internet scammers

Postby Kimbo » Mon May 23, 2011 9:14 pm

Hi every one,
just warning you all about Internet Scammers.
I nearly got scammed on the weekend, so hear goes the story:
I advertised an item in the local trading post (The Quokka) on line, i received an email from a keen buyer, we negotiated and agreed on a price.
I later received an email from this Dickhead asking me to help him pay his 'agent' a fee of $1000.
this Cock smoker would pay me thru PayPal, and i would have to pay a 'Western Union' account at the post office.
Then i received an Email from PayPal stating that they have $1700 ( $600 for item purchased, $100 handling fee & $1000 agent fee)
but could not release it until i email them with the Transaction number to Western Union, then they would reimburse me FAIL!
I smelled a rat very early, i rang Consumer Protection and they confirmed it as being a 100% Scam.
Fucken Oxygen Thieves

Please be careful fellas!

Good onya kimbo ;)

You should message the pole smoker with your bank details saying paypal wont accept his transaction, so money can only be deposited via my account or postal order..... AND! you need to reimburse the 1k before any other transactions continue

Ha! thats a good idea
I already deleted his details (and changed my password) just in case.
Coz he kept sending me links to help the transaction.

You can have some fun with the scammers, it's an online sport for some people. Check out the forums and letters archives on http://www.419eater.com for a laugh.

Hey, just remembered I've got an email that arrived in my junk folder, says it's from Jessica Alba! Wonder what she wants...
