Raw wheat Australian Pale Ale.

Had some friends over for lunch and one is a dedicated Bundy Rum drinker. They tasted my Rum, which was from my first pot still run, and only aged on oak for 1 week. Feedback was smooth and easy drinking, but had a bit of a ginger beer taste about it? ~x( I'm not much of a Bundy drinker and making this for my 22 yr old son, but though it tasted spicey?

Tonight I'm sampling a few of the jars I've set aside to mature.
So a bit of everything.....

Also a special whiskey that I set aside.
Had a coffee with a good mate of mine this afternoon..
He can't have alcohol and keeps to only fresh foods at the moment.
Was diagnosed with leukaemia a few months ago and is terminal.

Doctors gave him months not years.
He has a wife, grown up sons and his only daughter is just three or thereabouts.
One of the nicest blokes I have ever met and life has shit on him.
He's only 45 and is unlikely to see 46.

Think I'll have a few for him tonight.

Yeah life's not fair DBV... Sympathy to to your mate.
Flew home yesterday to discover one of my little princesses and her shit head mates had purloined most of my ujssm, Bwko and vodka...
Fortunatly they never found my rye bourbon which I am now sippin while I consider my diabolical revenge.
At least they showed good taste and drank the best gear first...
Stupid idiots posted it on fakebook.
Fuk it time for another jar. I am sure kids are dumber these days.

Wife went to the big smoke (Bissy), and while she was there picked up some beers. Cracked a Epic Hop Zombie, it's a pretty seriously hoppy beer. :D

You use toasted or chared oak. I just oaked some down with half chared and half toasted. Plan to remove the charred stick after a month. Also drinking peroni. :D

I have had a bad case of infected sinuses...so been felling pretty lousy...but all that turned around when I opened a bottle of Sam & Liv's whiskey last night...woo hoo. Mate it is beautiful, soft as a babys bum and smooth as. Managed to have about 4 shots before I realised my sinuses were clear for the first time in a week...so lets add medicinal to the list... Well done mate. Commercial quality for sure.
