I just couldn't do it in the end, it's like my first child :laughing-rolling: cutting it up just seemed wrong. But had I not found another length of 2" hiding in the shed I would have. The boka lives another day.

Wifey wanted some White Rum. Hadn't made any as yet, so stuck some pretty young rum through the carbon filter... Wow
Much better than I thought it would come out, She's happy and making some very nice Mojito's. yum

NGW and coke. Don’t normally drink spirits with mixers, but it’s a bit sharp neat. Super smooth with the black aspirin though. Very happy :handgestures-thumbupleft:

The past couple of nights been having a few "night caps" of CFW that's been on oak since May 2016. 1st glass starts off with a splash of dry & last cpl of glasses are always neat on ice

This stuff is sooooo smooth at 40%, you honestly would be fooled thinking its ABV is half or quarter what the alcometer says.

Damn shame it's evaporating at a rate quicker than I can replace it :laughing-rolling:

3 month old macwhiskey that’s been in a 5L barrel.
So smooth and tasty I’ve ditched the mixer and gone on the rocks :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Have a crack without the ice and just a dash of water. You won’t believe how much more flavour your mouth picks up without the chill numbing those mighty taste buds :handgestures-thumbupleft: have a good smell first to prepare them though

Why not just take them with you?
