Competition Time

Postby The Stig » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:11 pm

OK Gang, its time we had a comp.
We need a new logo or 2 for some stubbie holders and caps we are going to have made (more on this at a later date)
So, we need somebody out there to come up with a nice logo.
The comp is open to everybody who is a member but mods, owners and site nerds and their family's can not win.
The prize for the winner will be 500gm of bulk wine yeast and 500gm DAP delivered to your door.
We will run this untill somebody comes up with something we all consider the best (but at least a couple of weeks to give everybody a chance)
So hop to it, here is your chance to win some of the best yeast and food around, show us what ya can do
If you dont win this comp, dont despair, there will be more on horizon.

Good question SD.
It doesnt matter what size is uploaded here but, when designing keep in mind that the "pic" will need to be able to be re-sized to suit.
So something that looks good at 6x4 may look ok on a stubbie holder but shrunk down to suit a cap may looked funny or be unreadable.

I wish someone would put designs on quality stubby coolers (ie coolers that actually keep stubbies cool for a long time when you live in places that dont get cold often and not on cheap imported sh#t that lasts about three parties and then the glue on the bottom fails and the floors wears your beer etc etc)
AND I wish someone would put designs on HATS (yep, remember them, the headwear thingies that predated Americanisation et al; that ACTUALLY keep heads cool when you live in places that dont get cold often.. by keeping the sun off your head and neck and ears etc etc)

:hand: Iknow...STFU Frank :laughing-rolling: Stig great idea! :handgestures-thumbupleft:
