Just noticed this at Paramount Browns, Maybe a tad too large for home use but would probably break down into a great supply of oak staves for a good price.

Might also add that the barrels can NOT be delivered so this is only good for anybody close to Gepps Cross, South Australia 5094.
I would want a little more info than just "bourbon barrel"

My concern would be if they’ve treated the barrels with anything, or they were sprayed before the supplier got them. Arsenic(or cyinide can’t remember which) is a great spray to use on timber to keep bugs away.

They also have wine barrels could be worth having a look if local plus they are scrap dealer could sell some scrap to pay for a barrel car batteries seem to have gone up in value.
