Biltong dryer

Made this biltong fridge :handgestures-thumbupleft:
works a treat and all up cost me less than $50.

As an ex African, absolutely love biltong but the drying was always a hassle but after seeing this most excellent idear,I may just keep an eye out for an old fridge and do the same.that is a ripper Doubleuj.cheers hillzabilly ^:)^ :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Could you elaborate on the setup for us? The fan has a heater element? I have a fridge out the back that needs repurposing!!

equipment: 2" pot with 2" shotty 400mm long 5x 1/2" on a t500 boiler.
50l keg boiler 4" still mount 4" sight glass 1" drain..
4 plate 4" bubbler, 600mm packed section

Biltong doesn’t need heat to dry, just good airflow and low humidity.
So ive added a light at the bottom of the door that will gently heat and create a convection current and the extraction fan up top to suck the air out.
The fan doesn’t have any heat source
