Here's a good one from a fellow distiller in the UK following his/her thread on essences....
(Its the same all over...)
Caveat. It’s an offence to distil alcohol ....without a license. So if you do have a go, don’t try to sell it otherwise you’ll probably end up being chased by a nasty man with big teeth, carrying a large pot of vaseline, dressed in a “vizzy vest” '''..... Whether they’d bother about someone just making a litre or two on a hobby basis is anyone’s guess!

I find you can solder most parts on a still with the same solder, be that hard or soft. Like you say Mac, you just have to be careful with the heat.

But one does have to be careful that they don't use leaded soft solder, seeing that this thread is for newbies and all. :handgestures-thumbupleft:
