Is there anything better?

Postby trotty73 » Thu May 09, 2019 9:52 am

So I am kicking back in my shed at 9am ish, it's a balmy 11 degrees outside and its raining cats n dogs. The still is 2 hours into making me some nuetral, the heater is cranked and I'm a little bit tipsy doing my cuts. (Just for the record I am on permanent nightshifts and either way it's after midday somewhere.) My question is this- Is there anything better to do on a cold shitty Adelaide day or have I nailed it?

Spending the arvo watching starch in a mash turn to sugar. While sipping whiskey quite relaxing also.. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

12 hour shifts so 7 is 1900 for me. I think Bluc has it nailed also, would like to try making a mash one day when I grow up.

Was back in the shed at 11 tonight as work got cancelled for the weather, wish I had some sugar to put down another wash. Seriously thinking about a pot condenser for the still and trying out some mash. Brain is a little fried trying to get my head around the process though.

Try 7 swing shifts---then----
72 hours off----then----
7 night shifts---- then----
48 hours off----then----
6 day shifts----then----
120 hours off-----then----
Start it all over again.......it really sux!

I really do understand just asitt'n anawatchin.....
And having an icy beverage at any hout of the day.

This is why my build is taking so long.
