Re distilling alcohol

Postby taffy4x4 » Wed Nov 13, 2019 5:26 pm

Hi folks,
I wasn't sure which part of the site to ask this question on so I picked the general discussion area.
I have about 10 lt of 40% abv from a failed experiment and some corked port, if I want to distill it again through a reflux can I just pour it in the still or do I need to dilute it down.
Cheers.

As long as it below 40% you’re fine. But you may have to water it down to make sure your elements are still covered by the end of the run.
