Now is the time to buy sugar!

Postby southern45 » Wed Mar 04, 2020 5:42 pm

Now is the perfect time to go to Woolies and pick up a shopping trolley chock full of sugar.

People will just think you're OMG PANIC BUYING rather than wondering what you're up to...

I usually just ring the manager @ the local Woolies and put in an order for 300kg of sugar and he has it waiting for me at the back dock :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Yeah, nah!

It took me about 14 hours last weekend to strip 100L of wash, (yeah I had issues) which was made up of 20kg of sugar. Imagine how long 15 times that would take?

Nah... seriously I just buy my sugar in bulk as it's cheaper... I mean c'mon 1000L through a T500 :))

A couple of mates of mine go in with me and putting down a wash every say 3wks or so makes it a lot cheaper.

But I do like the sound of a 1000L IBC :D

for anyone having trouble with limits on sugar purchases at the moment, try your local IGA as ours has no limits on anything except toilet paper.

I've finally sourced enough raw sugar to put down another 60L wash.

Took a few trips to the shops as most times there was none! Couldn't get the usual 3kg bags either.
