Bollards

Walking around the local shopping centre yesterday I spot these bollards.
Guess what my first thought was?

You miss your Teddy?

It is very unlikely that those things are 304 or 316 stainless, at best it would be 201 and really not what you want, the tube would also be seam welded without passivation and would need work to be used. Most likely they are chrome plated steel

Go buy some copper - just do it :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Oh and here I am thinking you were pondering how likely it was that teddy was stuffed with copper mesh

I didn't say I was considering using bollards to make a still. :scared-eek:
It's just I can't get the thought of stills out of my mind & everywhere I look I see potential stills.
