Super long shot, but worth asking

Postby Negan » Sat Feb 03, 2024 8:13 am

Hey All

Long story short...Native tree fell onto the house that I rent, insurance company came and deemed the house unlivable due to asbestos. I've been given marching orders to temporarily vacate the property for the unforeseeable future.

Hoping that anyone out south east suburbs of Melbourne (box hill to Croydon or somewhere similar) type of area would be able to assist as a interim housing location.

I do have a dog, but also have a big boy CCVM copper still and a small reflex still if that is any of value.

Normally I would crash at a mates place, but all of my mate live around 300km away in the gippsland region.

*Edit, happy to pay $400 per week, and yes Im on flatmates.com/flatmatefinder.co./Facebook...etc, just not receiving any responses

I know this is a very long shot, but you never know

shouldn't your insurance find you a place to live until the house is fixed?

Not for renters Bman , if he was an owner and had building insurance, yes it would kick in .
