3rd cat 5 in 100 years!

Shed is locked, boiler has been filed with water to stop it blowing away if the shed fails, aging barrels in the bathroom just in case. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Lost connection, most houses seem intact, trees down everywhere and powerlines. Fuel/ some shops should be back onboard tomorrow/ Monday, anyone in rocky area needs use of power or a chainsaw or trailer PM me, if you've got internet that is.

The amazing thing is no traffic lights and no accidents that I've heard of.

Water is going to be out for a few days. Handy having one of Macs boilers full to the brim with fresh water made air tight with end caps sealing it. 8-}

How the f..k can a dam company release water during a cat 3 cyclone, without waning, and flood multiple farms, house's and propertys!
They clamed the gates open automatically when its at 90% wtf?
I thought dams were supposed to monitor their levels and release water when theatining storms are aproaching.

The banana shire you deserve a warning beforehand. :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Understand your displeasure mate, however we need to be careful in regards to political conversations on here..... there will always be someone that disagrees and then the political shit storm debate follows.

I hope all you east coast members get through all these latest weather events without too much drama, our country is amazing that's for sure.

Tomorrow in Perth we can look forward to 41c with high humidity and thunder storms, so anyone who visits our store tomorrow will have the chance to meet our poodle Zak as we cant leave him at home outside in those conditions.

Cheers,

Mac.

We got all set up for it in gladstone but yeah were spared neighbours roof seemed to have a leak and i know of a couple of people whos sheds didnt fair too well but thats nothing compared to rocky mamor etc.
What sickens me is the prices of things im hearing in rocky like genis fuel and water. In a time of need it seems to bring out the greediest in people who still have. I know bunnings in gladstone is getting hammered for the essentials like genis and fuel tanks water tanks
