40 deg Saturday lunch time - sittin in the spa drinkin beer with the missus. By 1400 h it was pissing down - right as I was hanging bloody Christmas lights in the hedge out the front. :angry-banghead:

41 deg at 1600 h Sunday arvo and it pissed down again on Sunday night.

Minimum 26 and maximum 39 today with afternoon showers. I fucking hate humidity!!!

Cant believe how dry it is over here in the Wide Bay area, only 2 yrs ago when I was living here we had xmas dinner in our outdoor area with a foot of water flowing through it.

weather events in your town

Postby Lupus » Thu Dec 27, 2012 5:14 am

It has been a fairly dry summer in SE Qld, so the rains of a few years ago are a distant memory. Specially if your memory is of the Xmas before the Brisbane floods.

It is funny though. Your comments about how dry the area is are exactly the same comments my wife made of Sydney, commenting on how much greener it was at home.

I suspect we are in another cycle of drought.
