Yep :text-+1:

But up north WA we get the humidity to boot! Laugh every time Sydney/Melbourne get a 40 degree day and go home... :laughing-rolling: we'd only work 4 months of the year by that standard!

Got woken up a 2am this morning with the rain and it lasted well over an hour (got 19mm), now got a severe weather warning and the bom is showing the front moving in now so in for more fun. Before xmas we had a 56mm downpour which saw a flash flood around the house and it does look like that 2" irrigation hose in for drainage may need to be 6" just for weather events like this.

Anyway will have full rain water tanks after today so another 10,000 gal for the gals to go thru

Another hot week for the greater Perth area, it's been a disastrous summer/fire season so far and I hope that anyone who has property or anyone who may be involved with fighting these fires looks after themselves.

For anyone in the Perth area, has this been a hotter than usual summer, or is it just the prevalence of the bush fires that keeps the news stream flowing over to the east?

Cheers

I second that! Wishing all the best to our states-men down south AND our Firies that are flying in to help combat those fires!

We're more used to this kind of heat, although we've copped a fair wack of humidity up here, haven't had a piss in days, sweating so much! :-D
