There was certainly some nasty stuff around. We just got
the edge of the one that went past Gin Gin, we're a few kays from town, bit of wind and hail but nowhere near what others have had thankfully. Thoughts go out to all that have suffered losses of any kind.

There’s some ripper lightning around here tonight, plenty of strikes going to ground, she’ll be pretty hairy out there for someone.
I’m off call tonight & on the drink so it’s not my worry now :happy-partydance: , although it’ll probably be another long day tomorrow

We had some ripper lightning through here Monday night too. Might be one of those summers. Not bad to watch with a cold one in hand... unless your on call with only the thought of a cold one. :laughing-rolling:

Over 42 degrees here in rocky, blowing a gale of hot dry air, bushfires every where. I dread to think what the firefighters are going through to try to battle these fires, this is horrendous weather

All the best to people having bushfires, haven’t had much to do with them, but it must be devastating to be told to leave your home and then not know what is happening. When I hear about this stuff, I just think losing your belongings is terrible but I just hope you still have your lives!!

Watching the news about NSW, looking very grim!

Stay safe, guys! Wishing you all the best.

On friday arvo looked at CFS website and found a bushfire was headed straight for our farm, the fire got within 5K of our farm then the wind changed direction and went north. We have many friends that have lost the lot and we are helping out anyway we can but for us that was one close call.
