Big weekend, :obscene-drinkingdrunk: hosted the family for Christmas in July. Place was mad yesterday.

Once they’d all shot through today I put my feet up with a nice Amber ale that I’ve on tap at the moment. Finished up with a couple fingers my stock bourbon over ice with a splash of soda. Happy days :handgestures-thumbupleft:

My nutrigrain whiskey was like that mate, once it got past 12 months it has just gotten better and better

I just did not make enough of it as it was a slow ferment for me. Stuck with the BWKO but who knows what will happen over this winter :)

Working 2 weeks on 1 week off in WA at the moment, brewery is suffering big time. I can knock out a macerated gin each off swing, but getting low on neutral. I'm endeavouring to go AG for everything to get away from sugar. So about to do wheat, barley & oats wash for neutral, just need more than 1 week to mash, ferment and distill.
If my company gets the maintenance contract the customer wants 24 hour coverage with 2 on 2 off, that will get my AG stocks back up to where they need to be.

Cheers

I suspect Bryan that you were called a heathen simply because you are and you assumed it was because you wanted to drink beer :laughing-rolling:

I find my favorite is the fore shots and heads, I find I am going through nearly a litre per night as it is really cold

Forgot to mention that it was the beetroot can with the rockwool in it drinking it, takes the temp from 15 to 24 in the back room where I exile myself each night

Yea I brought out the moonshine to get my beer fridge going then had a look at the barreybank and found the batteries were bubbling away with a fully charged battery :handgestures-thumbupleft: So when the yard arm came around enjoyed nice cold beers and the temp gauge did show 1C :obscene-drinkingchug: So it may be a plan just to use the shed fridge as a dumpload and have nice cold beers at the end of the day and put another beer brew down today. A coopers Real ale using my US-05 yeast :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cheers Bryan

Sipping on a 2nd Gen Macrum that's been on medium french for 3 months. It's come a long way in that time. I'm glad I've got 18L of this in 2nd & 3rd Gen stashed away that I'm trying to forget about.

Well Friday night and the end of my first full work week this financial year :laughing-rolling:

so 5 for $25 Pale Ale longnecks and a fresh hip flask of my 5 month old Barley/Rye and I gotta say this is my best AG yet and a bottle will be decanted tomorrow :obscene-drinkingchug:

Well back to 4.30am wakes up again and in 4 days I get my 40 hours and well it's great to finally get some 2023 wage rates :handgestures-thumbupleft: $55 an hour with 2 hours overtime each day :laughing-rolling: Now if they want me for a Friday with all day of overtime just over a K for the 10 hour shift :laughing-rolling: So unless there is a brake down I will be working a 4 day week.

So this 5 for $25 will stay as with all those longnecks my experiment with US-05 yeast and homebrew tin beer does need some aging and having 300 longnecks will ensure I don't runout before xmas this year :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Cheers Bryan
