Yeah may be a touch low mate . It was actually 60L of strip. I did no sparging as I had run out of boiler space. That may have upped yield if I went to the effort.

Gonna try and get a few stripping runs done on my 200L drum of Yellow label Sour Mash All grain.

Just until temps reach max that is...forecast of 38C today.

Decided to spend last night running that weetbix wash that took ages to finish fermenting :angry-banghead: so filled the keg boiler and had about 10 litres of wash left over.

Got about 5 litres of 90+% hearts on last nights run and decided well that 10 litres of wash will more than likely go off so may aswell run it in my bubbler :scared-eek: now running on gas it wasn't a problem and after an hour and a half pulled 1.150 litres to 40% off the remaining wash :handgestures-thumbupleft: now try putting about 10 litres in a element run boiler to get the last of the goodies out of a wash :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling: :laughing-rolling:

Now got just under 14 litres of hearts so I reckon one more ferment will give me enough to do a full boiler of 40% hearts so I have plenty for doing macerations and tinctures ok and a cold bottle of neutral in the freezer for a cold dram of nothing :laughing-rolling:

Cheers Bryan

40L of 40% ffv low wines through the neutraliser. Started at about 10am, just got a little taste of tails after collecting 11.5L @ 95%
