Restocking my vodka supply for some Xmas gifts. 10plates and a packed section, need 2x copper downcomers and 2 more short 4" extensions to run my last 2 seive plates. Ran out of space for a 2nd packed section. Ignore the messy garage in the process of tidying it up

Striped my first batch of Wbab, now onto my 3rd and 4th gen macrum spirit run. Was all going well till I knocked my iPad off the bench onto the concrete floor. Result is a shattered screen. A happy day soon turned to shit :angry-banghead:

Two batches of Maceration Gin (different recipes) pot still mode of a more refined recipe.

One batch of 2nd run gin (with a little reflux to bump up abv) was made with all the leftover ends of other batches of gin I had made that weren't used to blend to the desired abv

Original gins were very bold and bang in your face (almost like a concentrate ;) ) so hoping doing this has dialed it back to be more drinkable.

Will never be recreating it but was good to experiment.

Need to run some vodka again tomorrow and get it bottled

Also bottled off a 10L keg of ginger "beer" which was bickfords ginger cordial, ginger vodka (made from some ginger beer I made that didn't turn out well) some citrus vodka and some neutral.

6% abv and about 3.5 standard drinks in the 740ml bottles

2nd strip of my TPW, got a full boiler charge @40% so going to be a long day doing what I love :handgestures-thumbupleft:

That will make the TPW 8 plates and the final spirit run will be 4 plates with a 500mm packed section :handgestures-thumbupleft:

Cheers Bryan

Ended up with 13 litres @ 90%+ :handgestures-thumbupleft: and taking a DP I do reckon that final run will be needed to finish it off nicely

... a little different (for me).

I made 25L of alcoholic ginger beer which is not great, used wrong yeast. i will combine it with a 20L rum wash i have and run a dark and stormy distillation.
