I know the flies like a rum spirit run a lot more than a ujssm spirit run. Dam things are everywhere.

That's what they have been doing to me, I put an old stainless steel kitchen strainer on top of the jar under my PC. Seems to be working.

Well all done now, feints are running into the low wines keg. Did cuts off the still but will double check tomorrow just to be sure, definite smell change when tails hit that's for sure.

Nice one!

I'm running another absinthe today. Somehow managed to burn the herbs on the last one and ruined it. Even with a bain marie boiler. :angry-banghead:

I had 43 litres of low wines at 46%. Put 40 litres in the still and added 5 litres of water to get it down to 40% abv for a spirit run.
Only my second rum spirit run, last spirit run I had 36 litres of low wines that I topped up to 45 litres with wash.
