Ginger beer wash my brewery mate wasn’t 100% sold on. Gonna run it and see what turns up.

Sounds interesting.... Running it over all the plates or just a few to get more flavour?

EDIT: sorry - you're still building your bubbler... I have no idea how a Bokka works...

40ltrs of rum that's been sitting here for nearly 12 months that I forgot about 8-} I bet I can't keep it that long once it's been through the still :laughing-rolling:

When I moved out of my old place my brother in law/workman moved in and I still had some stuff out in the shed including my pool table :crying-blue: and a few other bits. He mentioned the other day there was a fermenter still there sitting in the corner so all wrapped up in it's winter clothes was a 60ltr fermenter with rum in it. So I moved it out here and let it settle for a week or so and it's finally found it's way into the still :handgestures-thumbupleft: best part is it's about the first rum wash I've ever done that hasn't got infected, she's a keeper :laughing-rolling:

But yes I do have a few fermenters sitting around :whistle:

equipment: Eve - 4" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (sieve plates), 330 mm packed section on a keg boiler with 2 x 2000 W elements.
Currently having a makeover: 2" x 4 plate solid state bubbler (1" bubble caps, no sight glasses...maybe not for much longer!) on a bain-marie boiler.
